At Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP), we deliver adult social care services and all community health services for adults and children in the Renfrewshire area. The HSCP is an established, innovative partnership between Renfrewshire Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and high-calibre candidate for the role of Head of Mental Health, Learning Disability, Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services. You will provide strategic direction, leadership and operational management of Renfrewshire wide Mental Health, Learning Disability and ADR Services, providing the delivery of objectives through high-impact transformational leadership, and the implementation and maintenance of a
robust performance management framework. In addition, you will deliver a complex service development programme within existing governance arrangements and responding to national policy, including the management of in-patient services across Dykebar, Leverndale and Royal Alexandria Hospital sites which are part of the Renfrewshire Mental Health Services.


To be considered for the role, it is essential that you possess a masters degree or professional qualification in an appropriate discipline together with membership of professional institution/ association.
You will also be required to demonstrate leadership skills, drive and resilience, as well as an ability to work corporately and in partnership with other organisations. It is also essential that you demonstrate experience in working in a senior role in a political environment, preferably within a health and social care setting, with experience of managing and developing mental health, ADRS and/or learning disabilities services.
